That's easy when you can track where your bus is. 🚌 Simply select your preferred trip option and see where your bus is on the map. Bus locations are updated every minute, so you can watch as the bus approaches you on the map. Works for trams and trains too, in some cities like Berlin. 🤓

Now there's no excuse not to perfect your walk timings so that you reach the bus stop riiiight before the bus arrives.

🚦 Live traffic updates: More accurate journey times

We don’t just guess. When traffic slows your bus, Citymapper updates your travel and arrival times in real time based on live traffic, and shows congestion on the map. That means you actually know how long the ride will last, when you’ll arrive, and where the congestion is along your route. 

How? We’re constantly crunching traffic data from transport agencies and studying every vehicle’s movements. The result: predictions that are 35% more accurate than official sources.

For those all-too-familiar situations where your bus takes a turn in the other direction 😱 Roadworks, events, or surprise closures... buses sometimes need to take a different path. Now we'll show you the route diversion on the map alongside the usual route, so you’ll know:

• The exact path you’re on
• Which stops are skipped
• Where the bus rejoins its normal route
